Campanile Rennes Sud - Saint Jacques

The staff at the hotel were very friendly, the reception and bar area very clean. the rooms clean and the tea and coffee a good bomus. we did have breakfast booked but had to leave to early to try it.

I booked this hotel then had to cancel the day before our arrival due to car problems, the company we’re very good and didn’t charge a cancellation fee. However, we were then advised that it was safe to use our car so we immediately re-booked. The reception staff were confused but very understanding and made us most welcome after a 280 mile drive at 50 miles per hour, seven hours in total. No restaurant but the hot meal service offered was good value for money and very acceptable.

Ticked all the boxes, airport hotel that was quiet and clean and the bar stayed open until late. Breakfast was available but opted for a short 10-15 minute walk and for a supermarket and bakery. Last flight into Rennes at 21:10 and there were no taxis but the bus went right past the accommodation.

Very helpful reception staff provided us with information on how to get the metro into Rennes centre. Clean comfortable rooms. Free parking outside hotel and bakery close by.
